Tyre pressure should ideally be checked every two to four weeks, and always before a long journey. Correct tyre pressure is crucial for safety, fuel efficiency, and the lifespan of the tyre. You can find the correct pressure in your vehicle’s handbook or on a sticker inside the driver’s door sill.

We will always assess a punctured tyre to see if it is safely repairable according to British Standard regulations. Punctures that occur on the main central tread area can often be repaired, but damage to the sidewall or those exceeding a certain size usually require a full tyre replacement for safety.

Wheel balancing ensures the weight of the tyre and wheel is evenly distributed. If your wheels are unbalanced, you will feel vibrations through the steering wheel, usually at higher speeds.
